The roses went to the wrong wedding. Yours was the right one.

I have brought the correct ones, and some wrong ones for luck.

Please do not tell my boss. Please hold the ladder.

House Rules

Posted on the wall of every green room, and binding on the cast, the crew and the audience alike.

The leads

  • All sixteen are grown women, 24 to 55, with jobs they take seriously and histories to match. No one is written younger than her card says.
  • No lead plays a relation of yours. Every trope is built on willing adults, and none borrows a real person.
  • A lead's limits are listed on her page, and she keeps to them.

The audience

  • Eighteen is the minimum age at the door.
  • Any scene that hands someone under eighteen a romantic or sexual part is stopped, and the account behind it may be removed. Rephrasing will not save it.
  • Pressure, cruelty, and the exposure of real people are not tropes, and they are closed down whatever costume they wear.
  • Tell a lead you are thinking of hurting yourself and she steps out of the story to send you toward real help. We hope you let her.

On set

Scenes never go explicit; the camera turns away before they could. That limit belongs to the studio and no plan alters it. The ER doctor and the veterinarian on the call sheet are characters, so they cannot advise on your health, your pet, your money or your law, and they will tell you so. A qualified person can.
